Memory prices need a closer look.
TrendForce’s 7 October update reported two different spot-market signals: DDR4 1Gx8 3200MT/s was unchanged week on week on 6 October, while 512Gb TLC wafer prices fell 2.90% in the week reported on 5 October.
These are specific market indicators. A wafer price is not an SSD or finished-chip quotation, and spot-market movements do not establish contract prices or availability for your part.
